This is Anna....I have known Anna for a few years now and she was my wedding photography assistant! As soon as we met I just fell in love with her beautiful nature and personality, who else would I have at my side during a wedding smile em...oticon I was just over the moon when she got in touch asking if I photographed maternity as a red shoe...which I had not until Anna! I wanted this shoot to be about Anna right now, at this stage in her life, not the traditional cheesy making-a-heart-shape-with-your-hands-over-bump-shoot {yes I have done this!!} And so here she is...beautiful Anna
"Here are a few words to sum up my experience of working with Sarah and Mandy and the reasons I wanted to capture this moment in my life.
I am a big fan of documenting different stages in my life and my first pregnancy has been such a wonderful milestone for me and my partner that we wanted to capture it in this special way. After a lovely chat with Sarah I booked my shoot for when I would be around 7 months pregnant.
Never one to shy away from the camera I thought this whole experience would be a breeze. I had always been inspired by Sarah's fabulous work and couldn't wait to create the memories of my growing pregnant body.
I was slightly nervous as I had put on 2.5 stone from pre pregnancy and wasn't used to my changing appearance, but I had more than enough love and support from my partner David to go for it!
Sarah and Mandy were gorgeous! We chatted for ages even before the shoot started so I was very at ease and had all the guidance I needed from Sarah! She knew exactly how to direct me and there wasn't a moment that I didn't feel comfortable.
Sometimes I find it hard to come to terms with the pregnancy weight, but I cannot think of a better reason for this change than for my baby girl. I am utterly in love with her and she isn't even born yet. I know I will look back at these images with pure love and joy and I'm so glad I had this experience.
